Puerto Vallarta

Evan's Mexican girlfriend...pretty sketch if you ask me. (What happens in Vallarta,
stays in vallarta)

a classy bench on the Malecon--looks like something Adam would do

I don't even know what to say or think about this picture...

hanging out on the Malecon (boardwalk) with hermano & hermana Torrez

We make missionary work look good

just waiting for a shark to come bite our legs off

surfing at Punta de Mita! 3 hours of a whole lot of swimming only equaled catching two waves...surfing is harder than it looks

Late-night tacos with the Narvaez family. They let us stay with them all five days we were in Vallarta and invited us to do everything with them

The beach was definitely not ready for this much "gringo" whiteness

Old Grandpa Williams goes out for a pass

My first experience at the beach! and yes, that is an alien space craft zooming above my head as I dive for cover to save my life....that junk happens in Mexico
Work is over and its time to Play!!! we started progress on our first tan of the season :)
Our workshop group in Vallarta--more than 30 people! we were told there would be 22, and we only took enough material for 22...oops! Lucky for us this room had air conditioning. The humidity outside was unbearable
Leaving the Guadalajara bus station at 2am to start our five-day adventure in Puerto vallarta! in case you haven't noticed, Evan and I seem to ALWAYS be wearing the same clothes when we set out on adventures....

It is really common for people to get on the bus here in Mexico and then stand at the front to sell something like candy, Catholic Prayer books, etc. Last Wednesday on our way home at 9 30pm these two young kids got on the bus--I knew we were in for a treat when I saw them getting on. They immediately started acted out a love/comedy skit. I thought it was so clever that I gave them 3 pesos. Thats the first time I have paid someone money on the bus!
