
This was the indigenous home we visited for one of our projects. Every day this lady spends about 2 hours making tortillas by hand for her family to eat.

In this small town everyone makes their living by making bricks out of dirt and horse poop. The bricks are stacked to create an oven.

It takes about 20 hours for the brick oven to cook itself from the inside out

It's hard to see, but this is a little cabinet in the catholic church that has LED candles. There is a slot on the side where you can insert pesos. depending on my many pesos you insert, a certain number of candles light up to honor whatever you are praying for.
